COME SEE The Best Sunset Spots in Adelaide – Top 4, Australia.
COME SEE THE BEST SUNSET SPOTS IN ADELAIDE – TOP 4.
1. MT OSMOND
Mt Osmond really is a 10/10 spot. Unobstructed aerial views of the ocean, city and suburbs all from one vantage point that only requires a 20-minute drive from Adelaide CBD and a short 15-minute walk. Need I say more?
2. SECRET SKYE LOOKOUT
We call it secret because it’s located at the end of a residential street with a no through road sign at the entrance. This means that only people who know it’s there go up and you’ll be unlucky to share it with more than 1-2 other cars. These are the low key finds we love!
3. WINDY POINT
This lookout is purposely built with tourists in mind with its ease of access. But you can also beat the crowds by putting on your adventure shoes, jumping the railing across the road and carefully making your way towards the run down fence along the quarry’s cliff edge where you’ll have a clear view out over the flat suburbs. Explore at your own risk!
4. SOUTH PORT BEACH
Its hard not to enjoy any seaside sunset on a west-facing beach. But the characteristics of Southport beach make it a truly unique experience. There’s a beautifully built wooden staircase that leads down from the roadside car park that has a stunning backdrop of the Onkaparinga River joining the waters of the St Vincent Gulf. A photographer’s heaven this spot also has views of the 300m long Port Noarlunga Jetty and its intersecting reef to the north.
