COME SEE The Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk, Sydney.
|BEST TIME TO VISIT|
If there’s one short coastal walk you have to do when visiting Sydney, Bondi to Bronte is it. It’s approx 2.5k one way so allow anywhere from 2-3hrs depending on how many stops you want to make.
The path starts just past Bondi Icebergs Beach Club. The track hugs the edge of the cliff as it weaves its way towards Mackenzie’s Point. Keep an eye out for small openings along the trail that allow you to venture out to the rocks to lay, explore and dive into the deep blue.
Continue along Mackenzie’s Bay – which is often just a rocky inlet- and wander out to Tamarama Point. Our fav thing to do is to just kick back and watch the surfers do their thang. The path bends around the back of Tamarama beach and up along the final headland of the walk before reaching Bronte Beach.
On the northern end of Bronte Beach you’ll find two pools. One for the little kids and one for the bigger kids. If your feeling up to it you can continue along and do the full Bondi to Coogee which adds an additional 3.5km or about 2 hours. This will make the entire walk 6km. The choice is yours.
