COME SEE COLEDALE ROCK POOLS, SOUTH COAST.

Coledale is like the little gem suburb that nobody wants to share. It’s mostly locals who visit. These are the kind of spots we love. No purpose built car parks, or beach front cycle ways and all businesses are back on the made road. And the small cliffs behind make you feel like your far, far away.
Coledale has two pools that are set in a flatbed of rock. The smallest one is a kid’s wading pool that looks as if it’s barely used by its ‘natural state’ although this could be because were visiting in the start of spring. The larger pool catches all the afternoon sun.
There were two blokes sitting on the edge enjoying a Bevvy, basking in the glorious spring warmth… Needless to say I wanted to kick them in and take their place.
Further along. The rocks open up to the water edge and all of a sudden I’m visualizing images of summer in Europe. I can definitely see this spot being favoured by young adults who would spend most of their time laying out with the odd jump into the ocean to cool off.
