COME SEE WENTWORTH FALLS LOOP TRACK, BLUE MOUNTAINS
|BEST TIME TO VISIT|
Spring – Autumn
30 mins +
4 mins from Fletchers Lookout
Wentworth Falls holds the title for third most visited in the Blue Mountains. Roughly 15-20 mins walk down from Wentworth Falls picnic area, you’ll see one of the most frequently visited gems. Known for its amazing view points along the way like Jamison and Fletcher’s lookout, Wentworth Falls will have you stunned at its beauty.
Just before you can start the National Pass walk, around the corner is another little gem not to be missed. We decided it was getting late at this point and decided to turn around and follow the Undercliff Walk back up to Prince’s Rock which was around 25 – 30 mins up.
It isn’t one for the faint hearted but damn it was beautiful. You can expect lots of sandstone stepping blocks along the path which is super helpful in the wetter months as it can be a little slippery. We turned around at the second little waterfall past Wentworth Falls and headed about 5 minutes back along the path until we met with the Undercliff Track sign.
Watch the track and follow the signs towards Princes Rock because if you don’t, you might just find yourself adding an extra 30-40 minutes to your hike and going out to the Conservation Hut Cafe. After taking in the immensely beautiful views from here its an uphill walk of about 20-25 minutes to get back to the car park.
